What we collect

When you join the waitlist we store your email address and the page you signed up from. When you use the contact form we store your name, email address, and message.

How we use it

We use your email to tell you when Sousnap is ready and to reply to your messages. We do not use waitlist addresses for anything else.

Where it is stored

Submissions are stored in our database, and only our server can read them. Visitors cannot read the waitlist.

Analytics, cookies and session recording

Nothing loads unless you say yes. On your first visit a box asks whether we may use cookies and session recording. Until you choose Accept, this website loads no analytics code and sets no analytics cookies.

If you accept, two services run:

• Microsoft Clarity records how you use each page in real time: mouse movement, clicks, scrolls, taps and the pages you view. We watch these as replays and heatmaps to see what works and what confuses people. Anything you type, including your email address, is masked before it leaves your browser.
• Google Analytics counts visits: how many people come, which pages they view, and roughly where they come from.

Both set cookies in your browser and receive your IP address and information about your device, such as the browser, operating system and screen size. Microsoft and Google handle that data under their own policies: the Microsoft Privacy Statement and Google's Privacy Policy.

You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer of every page. If you switch from Accept to No thanks, we clear the cookies these services set on this website and reload the page without them.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as No: we don't ask, and nothing loads.

In the Sousnap apps (the web app and the phone app), we use the same two services to see how the apps are used. There, Clarity masks every word on screen, so replays show taps and scrolling but never your recipes, and sessions are linked to an anonymous account ID, never your email.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your email from the waitlist at any time through the contact form, and change your analytics choice with Cookie settings in the footer.

The app

The Sousnap app is still in development. A separate privacy policy will describe how the app handles your recipes and account before it launches. Paid plans will be sold through RevenueCat, with Stripe processing cards on the web, and through Apple and Google in their app stores. We will never see or store your full card number.
